im back at school for my final semester at rpi...its crazy that im almost done with school.
the break was uneventful as usual. fin diesel (my kick ass beta fish) died after i left him home alone with my mom between t-day and winter break. i think he was swimming on his last fin before i left him though.
my other beta is still hanging in there, but i still havent thought of a cool name, any ideas?
the steelers are going to the championship game next week (woo), and then maybe super bowl 40! this commentator from the game today goes "someone said this year was super bowl 40, but i thought it was super bowl extra large!" thats sophisticated football humor right there.
im currently on the job search...not quite sure what i want to do after a graduate...blaaaaaa. no life plans...
well, i hope some of you out there still read my journal since i havent posted in a while. im still alive though, mostly.

havent written in a while...im sure you've all been very disappointed in my lack of writing.
so heather and petes wedding was awesome! they rock! im so happy for them, and its so crazy that my friends are getting married! we are growing up so fast.
the place was awesome, it was in geneva ny and the reception was at a castle on one of the finger lakes. i shared a room with christie and maggie and we had a rockin after party in our room, which was helped along by the spigot of wine that was mounted on one of the walls in the castle. the guys were drinking the wine straight from the tap...hehe.
so im getting to the point where its depressing to be a senior cause i dont want to leave college yet. i feel like i havent experienced everything there is to do, and that im gonna hate my life once i graduate :-( and its kind of depressing. and i still have no solid plans for what i want to do after im done with good ol' rpi. and i dont want this to be the pinnacle of my life, with things only going downhill from here. cause that means i only have like 6 months of the best part of my life left. ah!
alright i suddenly ran out of anything to write about so im gonna go and try not to waste my life away.

heyyyy so yeah i am back at school. australia was AWWWESOME i had a great time. if you ever get the chance to go there just dont hold back just do it. its amazing. the people are awesome, the beaches are beautiful, and there are so many amazing things to see. i went snorkelling at the great barrier reef and swam like 3 feet away from a sea turtle. i also got to go surfing and see the sydney opera house (the requisite place to see if you are in australia) and a bunch of other things. if you want to see the pics lemme know! i made an awesome scrapbook but i also have some pictures online:

hey there. im in australia now woo!! everythings going awesome and i really like it. ive already been to a couple beaches and swam in the ocean, and saw some kangaroos! oh, btw the address i posted in my last post...if you want to send me something, put down that i live in apartment 20. i think they might need to know that to get it to me...just throw it in there somewhere on the address.
my roomies are cool. there is staci whos in the same program as me and from ny also, and marie from france and joakim from sweden. they are all pretty cool. the apartments here are way awesome. i get my own bathroom, a huge bed, a balcony, and there are 2 pools, a bball, tennis, and sand volley ball courts, a gym, and a rec room with a giant tv and stuff.

schools over and i did a lot better than i ever expected in my classes, which was nice.
im a senior now
craziness. i feel old.
im drinkin some smirnoff girlie drink that i bought (legally...weird) with my mom today. they didnt card me.
ive been doing a whole lot of nothing since ive been done with school. its been pretty nice, since the last several weeks of school were so freakin stressful. being a jr is hard, senior year better be better...or else!
while i was still at school after my last final (which i didnt study at all for. seriously...not even 5 minutes) i pretty much just slept, ate, and drank every day/night, which has definitely been contributing to the tummy chub. hehe. and then when i got home i pretty much kept up the eating and sleeping, with a little less of the drinking.
i karaokied for the first time the other week with chris and taylor. i didnt want to at first but i got drunk and of course anything is a good idea when you are drunk :-P it was fun though. good times. i sang some styx and some bon jovi after smoking a few cigars for that nice smokey voice.
and then i got SARS the next day and im still trying not to die. but thats a whole other story...
i think im pretty much all packed to go to australia. im leaving on friday. in case you havent heard, im going to australia for 6 weeks for a study abroad program. im really glad im doing this, cause ive wanted to study abroad since i was like 12. and im surprised its all worked out so far. the study abroad guy at rpi is pretty awful and i pretty much had to do the whole thing myself and just get him to sign the application.
but yeah, australia. lemme know if you want me to bring you back a koala or a dingo or something :-) if you want to send me a postcard (which btw would be awesome) you can send it to

soooo...havent updated in about forever and im in class right now, so its a perfect time to do some posting.
went to the dominican republic for spring break...that was a good time. we met some cool people, hung out on the beautiful beach, lost my skirt (funny story btw...) drank a lot and even learned how to say happy saint patricks day in spanish.
but now im back
this week has been pretty busy, freakin school. being a junior is hard. and it my artsy emac classes i have to have all these ideas about life to make meaningful projects with and i really...i got nothin. and im supposed to know what i want to do with my life after school but i pretty much have no idea about that either.
all i know is that i dont want to settle. i dont want to settle for a dumb job that i dont like and am not interested in and that involves a cubicle or other stupid crap like that. and you may say thats not possible but that jsut means that you are settling too. but seriously a lot of the jobs i hear about people getting im like damn that sounds so boooooooring i would never want to do that. i dont want to go around telling people "yeah, im the person who designs cereal boxes for a living" or "yeah i make my money in the stapler production industry" gah!
and nate jsut sent me a picture of me licking his face on st pattys day in the dom. rep.
nothing but classiness from this girl...hehehe
and then! our formal is in a few weeks and i am still dateless...i havent decided what i am going to do about that yet. who's the lucky guy gonna be? oo..mysteriousness... i guess youll all just have to wait to find out...
and the formal is on a boat this year which will be pretty sweet...but its during the weekend of a rugby tourney which kinda blows cause i prolly wont end up going to that. oh well...what can you do.
we had a soccer game last night, it was a lot of fun. i love playing intramural soccer with the alpha phi DESTROYERS!!!!! thats right. we destroy things. like the other team. sometimes.
last ngiht we had a 3-0 lead at half time but ended up tying the game at the end. oh well. oh yeah and im fat and slow...that week of binge drinking and eating did not do wonders for my health.
and i also went to the ruck last night. that was a good time. i was promised an ATHF date next week that better happen because that will be a good time. :-D
i think i am the only girl i know besides vick vick that watches that...everyone else thinks its dumb. no one gets my sense of humor...
whatev.
alright well i try to keep my posts to a somewhat readable length so that, you know, people actually read it. so yeah, send me some comments. and quit wastin my flavah!

so its day 5.
the day after the 4 day party extravaganza.
and it was a good 4 days.
lets see...highlights....friday i went to tessas rockin christmas party where every guy there wanted to get into tessas pants. i missed the holiday shaped alcoholic jello jigglers...but oh well. and i met amanda whos gonna be in my 20 hrs a week freakin bio lab next semester. woo... :-(
and then...rugby party for a bit
and then...lxa's santa's naughty list party
and then...ski lodges apres ski party

saturday was the rugby formal i went with kevin. it was a good time singin songs and making the bartenders mad cause the rugby team guzzles down way more alcohol than it should during an open bar.
our coach gave out awards and i got most improved...or the "i used to suck and now i dont" award according to compact.
i was excited though cause ive never won an award like that for any teams ive been on...all 13 years of soccer and all 6 and a half years of track...whatever.
oh yeah then afterwards i went to the phi sig christmas party. i got a big handful of squid on the face when i walked in. haha. everything was dirty but hey i wasnt tooooo grossed out. apparently i missed the best/worst part where more gross stuff was flying through the air.
and lets see sunday i went to AEPi for their christmas party and i didnt mean to drink that much...i swear!
but the silly freshmen got me kinda tipsy and they also went around telling people that i spanked them. haha. and its true i do spank them. only when theyre naughty...but they're naughty a lot!
and they had awesome drinks like hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps and eggnog and soco. yum. thats what i call the holiday spirit.
now laaast night was the end of the year party for my house. it was an alright time. i dunno parts were good parts were not. but overall i guess the night was good. then we all went back to kevin and jordans to party some more. and they were watching the big lebowski and i really want to see that movie but i couldnt pay attention being drunk and with everyone hanging out. oh well i'll catch it again some day im sure.
oh yeah and before the end of the year partay we had a gift exchange and i got the coolest gift from katie...a vibrator! lol. and according to the package its for him or her! so how about it boys??
hahaha.
alright and since i like to keep my posts to a reasonable length...

so this semester is over for me! woo!
and i got a B in biochemistry!! which is surprising cause i was having a lot of trouble with that class...so yeah..yay!
and for my senior year i only have to take 2 more classes and i will be done with all my requirements for my biology degree...8 credits between me and being done with half of my major! now EMAC is another story its so complicated to figure out what i have to take for that... but whatever erin glasheen is the coolest most helpful advisor in the world and i feel sorry for you if you dont have her.
and this weekend is gonna be a rockin 4 day super party extravaganza.
but i dont feel like writing any more so ill go into more detail later.

why do i feel the huge need to say anything and everything that pops into my head when i get drunk...and usually at a loud more overhear-able volume than normal too...dammit..hehe
last night was interesting....played some bp with sarah at ski lodge...lots of bp...and then came home where i shouldve stayed and gone to bed....but oh no that didnt happen
i started drunk iming people and made seth come pick me up so i could go over to his apartment and play even more beer pong
overall jason sucks at beer pong and i am the best ever in the entire world and we all know it. haha
and then we started watching harold and kumar go to whitecastle at like 3 in the morning...it seemed like a good movie but i was too tired to watch the whole thing so i went to bed at 4ish....
what a nice tuesday night. im gonna miss the crazy weekday partying when im out of school. i dont want to graduate. i cant believe im a junior already..ah midlife crisis!
moving on..
so im so excited about being the vp rush of our house..i cant wait. i hope it all works out well and stuff....i think it will.
in conclusion:
-i need to start doing the craploads of hw i have due very very soon
-i also need to learn to keep my mouth shut when i consume adult beverages
-lj is another tool for my procrastination and it needs to stop.
